It’s the moment some of us have been waiting for. Friday Night All Stars is coming back tonight at 6:45 at St. James Lanes, after a very short 2020-2021 season due to COVID-19. This year I have my hopes up that we will complete the whole season. Amanda deserves a lot of credit for making this season start as soon as possible with a short amount of time to prepare everything and for giving us an opportunity to have a complete season, thank you Amanda!
So, let’s get to it. The draft happened last week on September 10th. The draft had a total of 66 bowlers, including the 16 captains, which in my opinion is more than I was expecting due to COVID-19. In the draft as well, there are 6 new captains and 16 new bowlers from the previous year.
This year is going to be entertaining and exciting as there are no more split shifts which everyone will be excited about, and there will be two teams on one lane again! I expect to see a little bit of rust in the first week of bowling, but I think that won’t be an issue because everyone is just going to be excited to be back doing what they love in their spare time, seeing everyone, and socializing.
It’s time to bowl off the 2021-2022 season. I hope everyone has a great season, good luck to all the competitors and have fun.I hope you enjoyed this little introduction to the season as me and others will give recaps and many other ideas every week.
